A communal space spiced up by different shades of silver

The renovation of SF Studios was completed at the end of 2022. The premises are a work and meeting place for SF Studios' staff and their customers, where high-quality films are selected for Finnish cinemas. SF Studio is located next to BioRex Redi, right behind the cinema wall. Same forms and materials have been used in both cinema and studios. The design was carried out using Partanen & Lamusuo's Moving Castle (Liikkuva Linna) -principle in close cooperation with the users of SF Studios.

Spatially, the new studio is personal and communal, the work of a film professional can now be done comfortably in the space. Own trailer space, a compact movie theater, a teaser space and individual conference- and work spaces with fresh greenery bring the studio the elements it needs without forgetting usability. A lot of wood and acoustic elements have been used in the space. In today's spirit of recycling, as much of SF Studio's own furniture as possible has been utilized in the interior, not everything was wanted or needed to be bought new. Palad has delivered Tuma tables to the space.

The silver theme with its details reinforces the glamour of the movie world, and the carefully selected lighting fixtures also catch the eye. The lighting they bring to the space emphasizes the studio's fresh, new character.
