Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd planned the PEKO1 project for the renovation of the old part of the Kuopio University Hospital in co-operation with architects' office Pekka Lukkaroinen Ltd. In this project, the responsibilities of Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd include the planning of the eye disease outpatient department, the infection unit, the musculo-skeletal disorders department, the oral and maxillofacial diseases outpatient department, the biobank, ISLAB's (Eastern Finland Laboratory Centre Joint Authority Enterprise) 24/7 laboratory spaces as well as of all public main entrance and gallery spaces. At the customer's wish, the innovative hand of Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd was also displayed in this part of the Kuopio University Hospital.
