Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd has designed several recreational buildings and detached houses, in which connection with nature and organicity are an essential part of the basic idea and expression. Honkasaari Villa is a recreational building designed for private use, in which several small building units are set on the plot adapting to the form of the terrain.

The buildings blend into the forested terrain and are difficult to distinguish from the lake. Log walls have been treated dark with Tikkurila's Valtti Arctic pearly shine paint, and the terrace floor boarding is of Siberian larch. Several large windows delimit different views, letting you observe the changing natural scenery.
