Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd. designed a unique lake spa in Rantasalmi in Hotel & Spa Järvisydän near Linnasaari national park. Rugged solid rock walls surround different types of saunas and treatment rooms as well as lounges and bar areas. The beautiful wood details are made of old sunken logs and logging spars. You can enjoy the amazing view of Saimaa lakefront from the large windows that encircle the spa.

The spa boasts 250 m² of pools. The center of the main pool consists of “The heart of the lake” –cave, Jacuzzi, two wading pools which one is specifically made for children and the outside pools that meander their way all the way into the beach. The ecological spa is heated by solar and lake energy. The spa blends into the landscape to honor the environment it sits in. The architecture supports Partanen & Lamusuo Ltd. ecological, aesthetic and high quality design principles.
