The cinema of Kuopion As Oy Palatsi, also known as the former Maxim cinema, on Haapaniemenkatu will be transformed into the new studio of Suomen tanssistudiot Oy (Finnish Dance Studios Ltd). The former cinema unveils a multipurpose studio space that respects the functionalist spirit of the building. The former cinema halls have been converted into charming dance and event spaces with cherry-toned parquet floors and cut-glass chandeliers. The big screen of the great hall has been preserved for the use of meetings and events. The dance studio foyer is suited both for the needs of dance rehearsals and interval space with cafeteria. The environment enticing the joy of dance in the middle of everyday routine combines shades of red with glowing gold and silver.
