Mon 10 Nov (14:00-) | Kirjakantti Opening Event & Cultural Walk

Welcome to the opening of Kirjakantti 2025 Love Festival!
14:00 | The afternoon begins at Palad Showroom with authors, cultural figures and music – an inspiring mix of thoughts, words and melodies reflecting different sides of life.

15:00 | Artist Jaana Partanen will lead participants on a cultural walk through Kuopio’s city centre, exploring public artworks such as Minnan lantti, You Are a Miracle and L.I.N.G.

16:00 | The walk concludes at Maria Jotuni School, where visitors can experience the Lemmenpolku exhibition by Käsillä ry, enjoy discussions and a shared coffee moment.

Join us as Partanen & Lamusuo presents the brand-new L.I.N.G. - Life is Not Gray artwork on the façade of Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi!
During this short, 20-minute presentation, you’ll hear the story behind the piece and get a glimpse of the light installations in the hotel’s elevator lobbies – inspired by movement and dance.
