Our story is deeply rooted in the Finnish design tradition and in our strong commitment to the values of sustainability. Palad is a Finnish design brand from Kuopio. We create durable and beautiful furniture, designed with purpose, for both public spaces and private homes.
We believe in equal design that leaves no one out. That’s why we strive to craft furniture that feels welcoming to everyone. As a furniture brand, our ambition is to leave an Empathetic Footprint – a positive impact born from design grounded in empathy, collaboration, and sustainability. Timeless Palad pieces are produced responsibly in Finland through local manufacturing. Our design philosophy is based on ethical and ecological practices: local production, the use of renewable materials, and built-in maintainability.
Palad’s designers, Partanen & Lamusuo, bring decades of experience in blending design, art, and architecture. They are empathetic designers with a vision of building a more harmonious world piece by piece – guided by the values of social responsibility, empathy, innovation, and ecological awareness.
Palad furniture is designed primarily for the needs of public spaces, yet its timeless aesthetics make it equally suitable for homes. With their functionality, our pieces respond to the challenges of multi-use environments and adapt seamlessly to the changing needs of people and spaces.
